WHAT WE DON'T SEE CUZ WE REFUSE TO.
Some people believe that it is a science to increase the beauty of a person. The basic aim of this surgery is to enhance the appearance of the individual that is done by altering the parts of the body. AND YET, its laughable to think that having larger breasts or lips can be classified as the use of ‘freedom of expression’. How low has our society gone if we think the most valuable use of our right to freedom of expression is the right to have cosmetic surgery? The availability of cosmetic surgery and the making it more acceptable only lets the idea infiltrate society that it is ok to want physical perfection, and that appearance is important. Surely we would want our young to grow up with higher hopes and aspirations. We need to stop using surgery to prefect ourselves cuz its only fixing the outer not the inner. How can we wish perfection when we don't know what perfection looks like to beginning with, stop hiding and start loving yourself. You are more beautiful than you think and more precious than you know.

"A study published last week in the journal JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery found that women who underwent facial rejuvenation surgery were perceived to be not only more attractive but also more likable than they were before the surgery. It's well-known in psychology that humans have a natural tendency to judge people's character based on their appearance. Studies have shown that we make judgement about a person's character within seconds of seeing their face for the first time -- and these judgments tend to be consistent with the way other people judge the same face. They found that the women's post-operative photos were rated as being more likable, higher in social skills, more feminine and more attractive. There was no significant change, however, in perceived trustworthiness, risk-seeking, extroversion or aggressiveness." - Carolyn Gregorie.
